Welcome to the Hadeka Stone Corporation Web Site. We are a family owned and operated business with slate quarries located in Hampton, New York and Castleton, Vermont. The Hadeka family established the company in 1946 and moved to our current locations in 1963 and 1977 respectively. In early 1974 our company became incorporated in the State of Vermont.
Hadeka Stone Corporation produces a variety of products native to New York and Vermont including a high quality flagstone, wallstone and decorative landscape stone displayed throughout this web site. Our red slate is a unique stone in that its' natural colors and shape differ from any other type of stone currently on the market. Our red slate is the only one of its' kind manufactured and distributed as various products in this part of the world. When used as a decorative landscape stone, our slate resembles a wood chip because of its' natural texture, color and similar shape. All of our products are aesthetically appealing and provide an immediate value to any residential or commercial landscape project.
The web site identifies the various colors and application of our slate products with specifications for quantity, size and weight. Many of the colors offered are manufactured at the Hadeka owned quarries and shipped to the various markets we serve. The decorative stone division of Hadeka Stone Corporation markets the various colored crushed slate products under our trade name "YORKMONT" in 50 lb. bags including Marble Chips. Bulk sales for these products are also available and shipped via bulk transport or by rail. All products produced and shipped are backed by the quality and reputation of the HADEKA STONE CORPORATION.
